Microsoft: Vista Bug Leaves Swedes Internet-less

Last week in Sweden, if you were running Vista, your Internet would have shut down. Why? Apparently, the Swedish ISP's use Linux based servers which don't play to well with Vista. Not sure if at the moment the issue is fixed, but I'm sure Microsoft will be careful about updates to Vista that might bring down the net.

Actually, its the other way around.

If a user's operating system is incompatible with an ISP - what do you think is going to happen?

Will the ISP actually tell the customer that their OS is wrong - that they've wasted $250?

Regardless of the fact that Vista does suck, customers will expect the ISP to work with them regardless.

If an ISP can't meet their needs, customers will take their business to those that will.
